Wanted a hydro flask lid with straw AND wider handle that actually holds up and doesn’t leak. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for and so far does everything it claims to. After a week of use it’s proven to be durable, good quality and function. An earlier lid that I was using in this style came highly rated but leaked when on its side and had horrible suction. This one’s out performed that version by a mile. It’s surpassed my expectations. Hasn’t leaked at all on me and has great suction – with no “sucking noise” that the last lid seemed to have from the start. Special feature that I haven’t seen on other similar lids is how the straw mouth piece seems to snap more securely into its space on the lid. This feature gives me even more no-leak confidence and does a better job of protecting the straw from outside world debris. I work on a ranch where everything gets covered in dust and dirt and noticed that the mouth piece was better protected than the previous version. Even after a day on the mower, there was only dust on the top but not inside. Based on what I’ve seen so far it’s exactly what I wanted in a lid and will hopefully hold up with further use.

This is a pretty good straw lid, but I’m ready for version 2.0, or 3.0 I guess because this is 2.0. A few things I’d love to see: silicone downstraws instead of plastic, a silicone tip for the mouthpiece, so you don’t have to put your mouth on a plastic spout. It would also be great if there was some sort of shield that could be slid over the tip when it’s folded down, just to keep it less exposed to the elements (ie. other ppl’s coughs & sneezes). That part could be silicone too. In general, a lot of the plastic of this lid could have been made from more sustainable and healthy materials. All that aside, It’s a decent straw lid. It doesn’t leak. It comes apart (mostly) for the dishwasher, and hasn’t warped in there. It does its job just fine, I just think HydroFlask is capable of doing better, haha or they can hire me for r&d so I can finally put my design degree to good use.

Really like this lid with the sipping feature. It doesn’t leak or drip when the sipper is in the closed position. The hydro flask has taken many tumbles inside my vehicle(that’s a whole different story regarding cup holders that don’t accommodate a larger flask. But don’t get me started on that! Ha,ha)and has never leaked, spilled or dripped. The sipping feature makes it easy and safe to take a drink of water while driving without the risk involved with tipping your head back with a standard bottle.Easy to clean and no suction issues(depending on wether you cut the straw too short!Oops,I’m on straw number two as I am evidently “trimming” challenged). Will probably order another for my other hydro flask.

Nice to have a lid that doesn’t have a cracked handle. My old one (original) developed a crack after 3+ years of everyday use, but still held in the water just fine. No problems with this new one. Bottle still works just fine, too

This is a great replacement for United by Blue bottles. UBB lids tend to leak so I replace the lids with this one. I love the twist open style. I don’t love cleaning then, but they are worth it.

It is a lid, as advertised. I don’t have to twist it on many times to tighten it which is nice.

Works just fine, we just had to cut the straws to fit in the cup. Also, my husband dropped it on the laminate kitchen floor & it chipped the lid, so the plastic is pretty soft. It does it’s job though so no complaints!
