Harder to suck through than I had thought, but it works. I drank from a stream, tasted fine, no problems. I’d hate to have to rely on it. It’s a good thing to have in an emergency bag, or on a long hike just in case. It doesn’t take the place of a good water filter for backpacking IMO

Hopefully I’m not ever in a situation to use this. But having it on hand is great Peace of mind. You never know when your local water supply could be interrupted and the ability to filter out impurities is awesome.
