Since the archaic Daylight Savings Time change, Minnesota has been plunged into a “30 days of night”-ish abysmal blackness starting around 5pm……which means walking the dog after work is fraught with peril since I have to cross a major road to get to the park (or any good walking, really). Even with reflective gear for me and a light-up dog collar + reflective leash for her, I don’t feel very safe or visible crossing that dang road—at the crosswalk, WITH the pedestrian light I’ve nearly gotten hit numerous times by idiot drivers.Bought this hat and wore it for the first time on tonight’s walk—what a difference! Not only did I feel super visible; the light obviously helped me see where I was going on the dark parts of the path, AND illuminated my dog’s reflective leash for good measure! Lame as it may sound, this hat made me feel safe.The hat is very fitted; I wouldn’t say tight but it’s comfortably snug. Right out of the box it was charged at least enough for my walk (it was on ~45 minutes on the lowest setting). I’m charging it now (super easy!) and can’t wait to wear it tomorrow. I’m already so in love with this product!

I just purchased these for Christmas gifts. Most of them were charged and the one that wasn’t charged pretty quick. The unit is easily removed for charging. The hats are a good material. Won’t know much else until the family tries them.

Love this beanie! Really bright adjustable light with long battery life and easy to charge. Great for walking the dog at night and reading in the dark. So very soft and comfortable to wear. Would love to see a line for sight impaired dogs to wear!
