I shuld have read some of the reviews before I posted mine. I am NOT compensated in any way but I noticed reviewers who complain about “Not an EDC, not good as a rifle light” and etc.. Come on people, this is a 2 flashlight purchse for about ten singles, meaning 5 each flashlight. Do you really expect it to be equal to the 50-60-70 and more singles flashlights! That’s not realistic expectations. But for the money paid – it really is worth it! I have also used it on my bike and it works very well as a secondary light. My main light costs 65 singles…I have used the GearLight TAC LED Flashlight 2 Pack, 3 mode for the past week, nightly when walking my dog, and I am really happy with it. It throws a very nice bright light and when focused, it shines very clearly over 125 yards (I know the distance…) as a spot light. When zooming out, it iluminates a 30X50 ft buidling completely and very brightly. I can’t attest to the battery life but I have used it a total of 40 minutes in full brightnes and I have not noticed anything different from the first few minutes of use. I like these flashlight better because they only have 3 modes, instead of the usual 5-6 that you have to cycle through and come with an 18650 battery adapter. I do not have an 18650 battery to try and see if they throw more light. The funny thing is that by mistake, I ordered 3 of them, meaning 6 flashlights alltogether but I am so happy with them – I am keeping all of them. Yes, I have a flashlight issue…lol If anything changes, I will update this review but so far – very satisfied with them and def. worth the money!

I bought these for convenience. Fit easily in my pocket, junk drawer, sewing drawer, glove box. They add extra light where needed, under sink, under car hood, and behind recessed can lights. Never thought of using the wrist strap until today. While working over the ceramic bath fixtures and tile, I wrapped it around my wrist to ensure not to break the fixtures below. Great product. I may buy more as gifts.

If you have 18650 batteries they come with a sleeve for a proper fit. This is a nice touch. I paid 5 dollars each for these which is a great value for a reasonably bright flashlight which I leave on the counter as an emergency light. There are much brighter lights, but for the low price and nice build quality, I would buy again just to have within reach during a power failure.

I wanted a bright flashlight for work. No flashing lights, no colors, just a simple bright led flashlight. This fills the bill. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and have had no problems. The clip comes off very easily. Not sure the clip would be usable under many conditions, but I wanted to take it off because it goes in my back pocket. I also removed the lanyard, a simple thing. It’s really too heavy to clip to the peak of a hat. That needs a lighter weight flashlight than this.It will roll. It has small indentations around the barrel to stop it from gently rolling on a flat surface, but it wouldn’t work well on a slanted table. Whaddaya want, it’s round. The button is on the back of the barrel, not on the side like some models. This too fits my bill, as I carry it in my back pocket. The holder for the 3 AAA batteries seems a bit flimsy, like it could break if one is ham-handed in removing old batteries. I used 3 AAA at first, and they did the job well. But I bought the rechargeable type 18650, use the plastic inner sleeve, and it works well too. I figured the rechargeable would last longer than the 3 AAA, and be more cost effective as I use it somewhat frequently. After inserting either battery, it’s a bit of a challenge to close the back end, getting the screw threads started, because the spring in the unit is strong. This is probably normal in other brands, too.The battery seems to go in backwards from what old flashlights used to do. These insert bottom end first. Not a problem, just odd. Maybe they’re all this way. It would protect the spring better, I suppose.I like it. They come as a pair, so I’ve got two, one for work and one for home. It’s a far better light than the old light bulb type. The metal (aluminum alloy?) weight of the flashlight is a bit of an issue with stretch denim pockets. I might have considered one of the plastic units (useful in electrical work?) if they were of a lighter weight. And maybe it would make no difference, the pocket stretches either way. The flashlight is short enough that it doesn’t fall out.All in all, a great buy for the money. Would buy them again. Recommend.

This flashlight feels good in your hand. Heavy. Solid. Very bright. After the hurricane I needed to see my black dog when I let him out at night…Fences were down, no one had power, and he’s a runner. But with this flashlight I could easily keep an eye on him and get him back inside before he went walkabout! Very robust flashlight. It made it though two hurricanes on my porch so a bit of rain doesn’t hamper it at all. I am so happy with this flashlight.

GearLight TAC LED Flashlight Pack – 2 Super Bright are fanstatic affordable flashlights. In a world where everything is complicated this flashlight is simple. ONE ONE SWITCH FUNCTION – ON/OFF. You press the button it turns on. You press it again and it turns off. When 99.9% of flashlights these days required a college degree to understand its usage this GearLight flashlight is a sigh of relief.

Nothing makes me happier than a well made, super bright flashlight. This is, by far, the best you can get and price is amazing. I bought this set of 2 for myself a few months ago. Put one in each car. So impressed, I just bought 2 more sets, one for each of my childrens cars. Itโs a must have in case of self defense. I instructed them to shine it in someoneโs eyes if they ever got approached by a bad guy, itโll momentarily blind them. Also great for looking under the hood, in trunk and wherever else they may need the extra light.
