With over 5000 reviews of this product, which in no small part was one of the major reasons I chose it – people don’t buy stuff that’s not any good, so anyway the chances anyone will read my review are slim. So here goes if you are one of the lucky ones.Remember what I just said, that people don’t buy junk? It’s also true that people buy what is easy and familiar. So why is it that it is so excruciatingly difficult to buy a simple water bottle to replace the disposable ones you buy in stores? After much too long spending money on increasingly thinner disposable store bought water, which in most cases is just tap water that’s been filtered, I invested in an expensive under sink filtration system so I can refill my own plastic bottles. My own filtered water tastes awesome and I never run out of it. The only trouble is those cheap thin bottles are not good for refilling so I wanted to get one that’s clear, simple and works exactly like I’m used to, unscrew the cap and chug. Guess what, almost no one makes that sort of thing. Now I’m as environmentally conscious as the next person but most brands want you to buy their bottle because it’s somehow going to save the planet. And instead of making it the same way people already drink water they come up with a thousand gimmicks to try to improve on simplicity.To cut to the chase, I think I finally found one here that’s basically like a 20 ounce store bought water bottle with a cap that unscrews and everything and the only think that’s gimmicky about it is the dubious addition of a magnet to hold the cap so you don’t lose it. I’ve never lost a cap so I can’t see why that’s such a big deal.WHAT I DON’T LIKEIt’s not really a singular cause not to buy this bottle just a dose of reality. I spent a lot of money to make my home-filtered water as tasteless as possible but unfortunately for all the hype about Tritan (which is as pure as dimethyl terephthalate (CAS 120-61-6), 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CAS 105-08-8) and 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-84 1,3-cyclobutanediol can be) it still has an odor when new. And it’s a pretty stron odor. I would never use such a product without washing it first and with this it took several washings with a baking soda solution to reduce the odor to a tolerable level.WHAT I LIKEi do like that it has the overall familiar feel of a typical water bottle, it just the right size to wrap my hand around, and the 20 ounce size is only slightly larger than the usual 16 ounces so it was a logical size to buy. Most of all I like that they didn’t try to play games with the bottom, it’s flat, no weirdly formed bumps so it takes quite a shove to accidentally knock it over.YES OR NOBuying a simple water bottle shouldn’t be so difficult. I spent hours searching these pages until I found this one and even then I wasn’t 100% convinced. The fifteen buck price helped, it was reasonable and for those who care it comes in four different sizes and twelve different colors. I went simple, just 20 ounces and crystal clear. After washing most of the odor out I replaced my used plastic store bought bottle with this on my bathroom counter, where I always need a water bottle for taking meds and vitamins. After the first day I didn’t even notice I was using it. I learned I didn’t have to screw the top down tightly between uses, it has a slight snap to it to keep it closed (but not spill-proof) so it is actually easier to use than a regular bottle. And the magnet isn’t something I have to think about, when I open to top it just flops back by itself. I like the plain simplicity, knowing it can go into the freezer if I want to have ice cold water and that I can use hot water to clean it. It’s pretty much the perfect personal water bottle and for that reason it earns a five star rating.

I got this because I don’t like the camelbaks with straws, and it said that when you loosen the top top drink, it magnetically sticks to the back so that it doesn’t flop out on your face when you’re drinking it. There is a little bit of magnet attachment, but if you use any bit of force when tilting the bottle up the magnet does not hold. This might just be a defect for mine, but I still feel like I need to hold it back while I tilt it up to drink. Flipping the cap and screwing it on is also not the quickest, because the cap is kind of short so there’s less room for you to screw it on and you have the outside area of the attachment that kind of gets in the way while screwing it closed. But otherwise it’s a good size and I might just need to get used to it. No leaking as far as I can tell.

Got these for our recent trip to Ireland. The bottle worked great. It was a good size and fit some cup holders well. I liked the top that could be screwed shut or, when using, the magnetic top would keep it covered (the mouth piece). I liked that the mouth was large when the top was taken off, it helps with filling. Over all functioned very well!

Tried three different water bottles and this was the one perfect for my backpack. Light weight. Easy open and close. Magnet keeps the cap open while drinking. Carry handle is a very helpful.

The cap is magnetic but not to keep it from leaking. Its to hold the cap back when you drinking. I was also disappointed because I wanted the perfect seal but I like this new feature. You need to pull the cap back all the way and hold it open. It works and its pretty cool. The cap will not move until you pull it off.

This product does everything it’s expected to do. It holds water. Has a seal. Holds 25 oz. Easy to drink from. The only things actually required from a drink container are in this product.

The bottle has a simple drinking hole that is sealed with a magnetic cap. You need to screw the cap as it’s not being properly sealed when you just place the cap.It’s easy to clean and durable. I prefer this simple structure over the complex contigo bottles with nozzle which accumulate germs and breaks easily.
