Let me start by saying I purchased a different water bottle before this one called Survimate because it was so minimal in weight. It was great for when I traveled to Florida for work and didnβt want to buy and carry around multiple water bottles a day. The only 3 drawbacks I had with that bottle is that if you donβt close the spout ask the way the bottle will leak. I had that happen to me and it got some of my paperwork a bit wet, the spout is a little small so I can to pucker up more which made me feel like my lips would wrinkle faster (vain I know but gotta take care of your body), I also had to suck a little harder to draw fluid into my mouth. Fine for me but my toddler didnβt like the extra work.Overall still love the concept but I ended up getting this bottle by Brita that I find I love much better. The Brita has a version that is big and insulated so Iβm able to add ice and itβs much easier to drink through. My toddler is going to love that. I also love that the spout is larger and more comfortable to use. Only drawback with the Brita is the size and weight but thatβs the offset for having cold water. Worth having both. Now I keep the Survimate in my bedroom so I donβt have to walk downstairs my house and get water. Make sure you do not accidentally freeze the bottle like I did though. That will cause the filter to crack! Overall, filter is great and water tastes great.

We took these filtered water bottles on our recent trip to Florida / Disney World and they paid for themselves and just a few days. We were able to refill them at all of the water fountains or water stations throughout the Disney parks and never once had to pay for a water bottle. Took them with us in the car, to the beach, and we have now ordered some to have at the house in a smaller size for kids to use in their backpacks. We are also about to use these for an upcoming cruise since we canβt take any other drinks on the cruise and water bottles are not included in our drink package. Not only do these water bottles save us time and money but I also feel great about cutting down on plastic waste through water bottle consumption. Truly a win win! Great job Brita!

Love this. We bring it when traveling in the states because we filter our tap water at home and you never know what you are going to get at a hotel or airbnb or if filters elsewhere have been replaced consistently. We have pretty decent water where I live but there are areas like near my brothers house where the water is heavily treated (near old mining towns) and the chemicals used/left over taste from runoff/treatment makes me ill. I will just not drink water if I do not like the taste and I really hate to use bottled water (though having cans now is a really nice option for short periods of time) so this bottle is fantastic. The last AirBnB we stayed in for a week was outside of Chicago and I couldn’t handle the water so we ended up buying them a really inexpensive brita pitcher and purchased a couple of these when we returned home for all future trip.We tested them in Breckinridge over a long weekend which has decent water compared to other areas in Summit County but it gave us peace of mind and ensured we were drinking enough.I highly recommend!

I think I got this a year or two ago and have been using it daily since. Itβs still in amazing condition, with just a few scratches to the pink outer coating. The cap, handle, and straw are all still in perfect condition though I should note I never carry it by the handle. My partner also has this same bottle in black and frequently carries his by the little strap / handleβ his DID break off on one end, seemingly unfixable, but that happened fairly recently relative to how long he had it without any issues. The filters are easy to replace and last pretty long. I admit I am not always super on top of replacing them as often as suggested but Iβve never noticed any difference or degradation of quality by the end of a filter. It does keep my water cool much longer than a plastic water bottle, but I havenβt paid much attention to how long specifically, as I prefer room temperature water anyway. The bottle has a great look and feel too. Itβs very sleek and fits nicely in my daily tote bag. It is a bit heavy due to the material. The walls are also pretty thick, so it wonβt hold as much as you may expect it to from just looking at it.**TIP: Regarding the strawβ neither my partner nor I initially realized that the straw is meant to βscrewβ into the cap. He was drinking from it with the straw just sort of shoved into the cap. I hadnβt noticed that specifically bc I never put his together but did think felt odd when I drank from it, because it was very βairyβ and felt like it had really awful pull / pressure. I was honestly really shocked at how bad it seemed. When I finally had a chance to look closer, I realized the straw is meant to turn into grooves on the cap (you turn it counter-clockwise) which locks it into place + creates a seal, thus fixing this βissue.β We felt silly upon realizing thisβ¦ Itβs probably pretty intuitive or maybe youβre someone who reads instructions, so youβll likely be fine, but I still felt it was worth mentioning in case it helps anyone else, haha!
