I am 5โ7 & 216pounds & I got the XXL in purple & they are big in the waist but I can wear a belt, itโs a little loose around my legs but I canโt imagine it being any tighter because I wouldnโt be able to bend, I carry my weight in my hips, butt, & thighs. I couldnโt pass up this deal, the purple xxl pair was being sold for $17 instead of $50 like the rest of the colors so I said, why not. I was satisfied when they arrived & was surprised there was NO damage or stains & the tags were still on. I canโt believe I got these for such a great price. Iโll upload pics later. I gave it 4stars because I wish the pants had a stretch to them, I canโt imagine a form fitting pair being able to work because you wouldnโt be able to bend. I LOVE that the pants have a way to tighten them at the waist, it helps SO much! Definitely warm & water resistant. I usually always choose black since Iโm thick but Iโve been trying to wear more colors & learn to love myself while trying to loose weight & the purple XXL was the only pair on sale for $17. I HATE being cold so I love these pants. Since they are a little big I can EASILY wear another layer or two underneath but I have wore them with no layers underneath & they kept me warm. Definitely good quality. Happy with this purchase. โค๏ธ โ๏ธ ? I just washed them & I recommend hanging them to dry. They washed well & it didnโt damage them at all, I did it on a delicate cycle.

Imma be honestโฆ Iโm 5โ5โ and weigh 152 lbs right now. I carry my weight in my gut, with 37โ hips and 32โ squishy waist, much like the Grinch. I wear size 8 jeans, sometimes 10 depending on the cut, I broke my ankle, couldnโt walk for over a year and gained a โlittleโ weight. Iโm used to high end gear, but I wanted a pair until I lose the weight and didnโt want to spend much money. So I tried these because they met my criteria and have good reviews, and WOW they exceeded my expectations!I ordered a large to have room to layer underneath, but theyโre comically huge! Iโm wearing tights under these pants in my pictures, not the grey pants in the picture where I measuring my hips (although Iโm wearing tights under those pants, too), but regular tights. Theyโre a true 31 inch inseam which is actually a little bit too long, and I have long legs. Fortunately, I have time to send them back and get a medium. You need to know these Arctix ski pants are ski pants. In other words, the bottoms flare out to go over your ski boots, and they have an inner gaiter at the ankles to keep the snow out. These features make them superior for skiing, cumbersome but possible for shoveling snow, but not appropriate for walking or running. Plus IMO, the legs are a bit disproportionately wide esp through the calves, and this type of fabric makes a substantial โswooshโ noise when you walk, more so than my high end ski pants do.Nonetheless, theyโre way better quality than I expected at this price! The fabric feels quite sturdy, thereโs is plenty of insulation, and theyโre made very well except one seam has about an inch of strange stitching if you look really closely, but no one else would ever notice, and to save $1-300, itโs a decent trade off! I got white, and itโs a bright white, which I wanted because it matches the trim on three of my ski jackets even better than the black ones Iโve bought for the last 20 years. And the grey accent color is a nice touch. They look high end.I havenโt wore them skiing yet, but I had to take them off twice while taking these pics because I got hot, and itโs only 62ยฐ in here, so Iโm sure theyโll be plenty warm. Theyโre comfortable. There is sturdy Velcro at the waist to adjust it tighter if you have the good fortune of having an hour glass shape, but you might need a belt, too, because one fall might pull it open, and that would be a bad time for your pants to fall down!Overall, I definitely recommend these pants for skiing! โท๏ธ

Iโll be spending a week in the snow. I ordered some โslimโ fit snow pants with a huge amount of good reviews and was incredibly disappointed. First, theyโre mens cut – weird awkward fit – second, they just werenโt warm. I was in dry 63 degree weather and I may as well have been wearing jeans. So, I ordered Arctix brand womens snow pants. Much much more insulated. Actually cut for a womanโs form so they fit very well! Iโm not in the snow yet but itโs a windy 50 degree day and I was as warm as I could possibly be – I ordered another pair right away! For me, they run a bit big but not so big that they look clownish. Big enough to slip some thermal pants underneath (for the snow) and still be comfortable. You can adjust the waist on these because they have sturdy Velcro – thereโs also loops for a belt. I freaking love these. Forget the slim look – yeah theyโd be cuter but youโll be freezing. These also have room to comfortably go over your snow boots on the bottom – OR – as I did, fold back once down near the cuffs (we used to call this pegging our pants back in the 80โs haha) and bring my boots up over them – tie boots snugly and they feel softer than the sock and boots only. Highly recommend! Arrived next day! Iโm 5โ6 and weigh probably 132 pounds right now. I have short legs so I got the medium short size and theyโre a freaking dream! PS – they look really good! Iโm pleasantly surprised with how great they look for well insulated snow pants. Donโt hesitate – get these!EDIT TO ADD – I had my week in the snow. From 40 degrees to 19 degrees – the pants totally kept me warm. The snow pretty much rolled right off – I canโt speak to how water resistant these are because it wasnโt slushy snow – but Iโve got to think they wouldโve been at least a LITTLE wet. They werenโt. Loved these. So warm that when I went to a bar after hiking in the snow – I was pretty toasty and went outside a few times to cool off. Definitely warm. Definitely comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I needed some affordable snow pants for Buffalo football games in winter and came across these on Amazon. I saw all the great reviews on these snow pants and decided to order these instead of name brand ski pants for upwards of $200. I’m so glad I did – these are perfect for a 2-3x per year use at cold football games. They seem warm, fit true to size, and the pockets will be large enough for keys/ID/cards/phone. They seem well made. The true test will come when I wear them the first time at a game. I plan to layer long underwear leggings and tall ski socks underneath so I’m hopeful I’ll be nice and warm. Only gripe is that the size sticker on the front of the leg left sticky residue when I peeled it off.
